Afternoon all,
Looking at getting my dad a laptop, his mates trying to sell him a Toshiba c660 with 3GB Ram for £230. Thought I'd have a google and came across one from 4GB on argos outlet for £250, seems a better idea to get one from agros, but while looking at their listing I spotted this Toshiba C855 and wondered if its a better deal.
To be honest he's probably only gonna be using it for general internet, youtube and puting his camera pics on and a bit of music. Any advice would be much appreciated.

i3 380m is slight faster than B950. However, considering HDMI, USB 3.0 C855 could be the better buy.0

Out of the two I'd choose the C855, but only because it comes with the 1 year guarantee that your dad's mate won't supply. Also the C660 refers to a range of Toshiba laptops, the newest do indeed have Intel Pentium I3's but the older range had the awful Celeron processors, so you really need to get the full details of what he's selling.0

Almost certainly the Satellite C855. The C660 range is a bit too basic.
Though this Satellite C660 has a dual core Pentium for £220.0 -
Thanks, Not sure what the processer is in the one that my dads mate's selling, but found out its 17 months old, has 320gb hard drive and a scratch on the screen, so guessing its gonna be Argos all the way0
