Quick Credit card question

Me and my husband have been paying of and closing our credit cards :j

His halifax credit card statement came today.
The date of the statment is 9th November and Balance is £21.40 Min Payment £8.24

We had paid most of it of eariler in the month and paid £21.40 on the 10th November
Will the payment on the 10th count as payment for this month or last?

A payment on the 10th will "count as payment" against the statement dated the 9th.

yes, if the 21.40 doesnt show on the 9th then it will count on the next statement, as its soo close to the date of the statement then there shouldnt be much residual interest next month (e.g from 9th to when they received it)..
