If you have 3 years ncd now, when your policy ends in 2weeks you will be entitled to another year so 4 years ncd but if you cancel early you will revert back to your origonally 3years
I can see what you are saying but what really is the difference between them sending out the NCB earlier and using the renewal notice with your NCB on which you will get before the policy ends?
Thanks for everyone's reply. I have just had endless problems with my current insurer and I just worry leaving them will not be pain free.0 -
The renewal quote is based on an assumed NCB. Its not proof as the year hasn't ended.I can see what you are saying but what really is the difference between them sending out the NCB earlier and using the renewal notice with your NCB on which you will get before the policy ends?
If you are changing insurer remember to tell your old insurer not to auto renew.0 -
Yea had this before as others said they wont until a full year is up. They should send one then if you ask them the other company may ask for evidence after policy was taken out. Last year for first time I was asked for copy of driving licence and proof of ownership first time I have ever been asked for that and I have 12 years NCD0
