thinking about asking Santa for a tablet
loads around
can't afford ipad so think under £200
I have android phone so maybe android tablet although kindle wildfire looks nice
any tips, linkadoos or recommendos?
PS i usually complain about forums being over-sectioned but "techy stuff" simply covers too much ground and for sure tablets should now have their own forum

When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

Nexus 7 £159 direct from google play store, probably the best 7 inch tablet you can get and almost certainly the best value, do not pay more than £159 for 16gb version though.0

Nexus 7 32GB £199
Samsung Galaxy tab 2 £119 after cashback
Sumvision Titan Tablet 9.7" £160. I don't expect it as good as those big brand. But this the one I could think of if you need 10" under £2000 -
I think Nexus 7 sounds best for me - thanks folksWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0

Best price seems to be Carphone Warehouse
Nexus 7 16 GB £159
Nexus 7 32 Gb £199
but I have to wonder -
Should just buy Nexus 16gb for £159 and get a 32 gb micro sd for £15
or am I missing something? When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -
If it a tablet you want go for the nexus 7 but why spend money on an sd card ?
The nexus doesn't have an sd card slot, the galaxy tab does though.0 -
Neither the Kindle Fire nor the Nexus had an SD card slot. The memory you buy is the memory you get. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

What makes the Nexus 7 better than the Kindle Fire? Thanks
For me because Nexus is Google's own android system same as my phone so I'll know my way around & lots of apps already & quad core processor (bit faster)
Think the Kindle fire is android too but not sure - Kindle has 8 gb memory compared to Nexus 32 gb (£199)
Kindle has got HMDI output to HD TV which i'm not fussed about - cant see me ever wanting to plug a tablet into my TV when my TV is already hooked up to my wifi Internet & PC & my playstation alreadyWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0
