Wiring Diagram for Cooker

I am looking for a detailed wiring diagram for an Electrolux double oven. Model EOD 983X.

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

no, you need to be gas safe registered to work on a cooker, if you send the spark the wrong way you could kill everyone. my cooker has be short circuited and blows the fuse, my mrs desided to was the cooker and attacked the back with a wer spong shorting something at the back, luckily the ccooker was unplugged when she was washing it, but when she turned it on the fuse blew, and blows every time to. so itss been left unplugged for 2 weeks now.

i have a rough idea what the problem might be but its too dangerous to start playing with the electrics, costs 150 quid to fix so i thought i'd leave it until i get a new cooker with free installation, for now, gotto use a manual igniter.

I don't intend to touch it. When the electrician fitted a new thermostat in the fan oven he seems to have shorted something at the grill and a diagram would be a lot quicker than checking each wire.

you don't need to be a gas fitter to work on an electric only oven.
Djay what are the syptoms, maybe he has just not reconnected a wire?

Hi Tony,

The thermostat had about 8 connectors and the large oven is now working beautifully but he thinks there was a short somewhere as when the grill in the top oven was switched on it blew!

If we can't get a diagram it will mean checking each wire which is possible but a lot slower.j
