Sorry you're not being very clear about what you want to do. What do you want to copy to your PC?0

Do you have a sound input (like a microphone jack) that you can plug into the pc? Not sure which program to use but I thin kyou'd first need to record to wav format and then encode to MP3.0

Line in is better than using the microphone jack, as the signal will be too high for a microphone input causing clipping and distortion.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

That's just the type of connector and could be applied to both microphone and line-in. The difference between them isn't the type of socket, just which of the sockets you plug into."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Skip, the line in will usually be coloured blue on your PC, the mic will be pink.
If you are using a laptop then you may not have a line-in socket, as most laptops don't. You can get around this with an external USB sound card which are cheap as chips these days.0
