Are Natwest doing away with Advantage Gold?

I've read on the Natwest website that Advantage Gold is no longer on offer to New customers.

Does this mean that they will be doing away with the account for existing customers soon does anyone know?

    As far as I know existing accounts will stay as advantage gold but there will be less benefits

    If you're already on ad gold then you'll stay on it under the same terms.

    Enhanced breakdown cover, phones no longer need registering for insurance though excesses raised.

    RBS Royalties Gold account holders are more adversely affected - losing the two benefits it had over Advantage Gold ; ticket cashback and home emergency cover.

    Yes if you are on gold - you will certainly stay on the same terms - i have had that confirmed...

    I have a RBS Royalties Gold account but have not heard that the benefits are being reduced. The account is still advertised & available to new customers with all the benefits. Where does it say benefits will be reduced?
