Also managed to grab 2 £15 cards from local newsagents, can't wait to spend them and act shocked when the assistant says I have a £15 one0
-
Just a plea....if your in London, would you mind please not taking all the £15 cards..I'd kinda like to have one if that's possible and every time I've gone to look they've all gone. (This is when looking in large stores with 20+ copies of the magazine)0

I picked up my copy today and it has Store Code 38932- does anybody know if there is more than one code per value? Or is it just 3 codes for the 3 values? Many thanks xx0

That's purportedly the £100 code :T  :T
There are at least 4 codes though as there is a £15 off when you spend £30, so it is possible that 38932 could be an unreported conditional spend code.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -

Oooh that would be fab! I won't be able to get to town until Christmas Eve (when I take my DH and kiddies through the crowds to see the Salvation Army band- it doesn't feel like Christmas otherwise, lol) but I will check it out then and report back. thank you for your reply- I'm excited now! :beer:0 -
That is the correct code for the £100 voucher as I got one! I think the girl in the shop was more excited than me but well chuffed as thats a few gifts for next years birthday's taken care off!!0

Does nobody else think it's a bit wrong to go through dozens of copies at multiple stores and take all the high value cards?? I can understand to an extent, that if this information is available, people might rifle through and take one of the high value ones, but it's really unfair on people who haven't seen this site/thread, and pick up a copy thinking they have got a chance. I think it's especially out of order getting multiples, or cleaning out the shelves of £15 ones! How rude!
I might be in a minority here and I don't wish to offend but I think it's a bit greedy to be honest, and goes against the principles of the site. I saw the mag in a couple of shops today and both had clearly been raided - the magazines were torn and bent, and just chucked back on the shelf.0 -
If the company don't want anyone to do this they can seal the mag in a bag or the card can be produced in a way that it's value can't be told before taking it into the bodyshop.
Tearing & bending the magazines on the shelf is not excusable in any circumstance and I never damaged any of the magazines I looked at - I'm sure others on the thread didn't either, but you often hear of freebies being stolen from magazines by people with no scruples.
I never found a copy with a high value card, so I never bought a copy, but I don't begrudge those who did.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
I don't think it's really wrong to look through until you find a £15 one but when I looked through them in Boots someone had stolen a card from a magazine at the back of the pile so it's probably fairer to have the codes covered by a scratch off panel.
I've looked through dozens and clearly so have a lot of people as there are only £3 cards left in all the shops near me!0 -
I was thinking of asking for the thread to be pulled for that reason - but it had already been linked to another thread AND another forum so didn't bother. When I posted the thread I had been sent a card with a purchase and wasn't aware they would be given away in magazines.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
