Buildings Insurance for Freeholds

Really need some help on this one please
Trying to insure a property (two storey terrace) which has been converted into two flats. One is owner occupied (by me and my family) and the other is owned by a separate person who lets it out to tenants. Both flats are freeholds. The building as a whole was previously insured by Direct Line. We have come to renew and they now say (after having taken our premium last year) that they now cannot provide insurance on the basis that one is tenanted and one is owner occupied. Can anyone suggest any alternative insurer or are we going to come across the same problem with everyone? Does anyone have experience with a similar situation? Thanks for reading. Need to sort this soon...renewal fast approaches!
