  • It goes without saying that you've checked the basics? Have you got statutory reports, checked they show you as being on the electoral roll, checked for inaccurate information, checked that that ex-partner link was indeed removed?

    If I understand your situation properly then the two loans that you defaulted on would still be on your record and have an effect.

  • The loans are still on my account well one is as I still owe on that but the other was over three years ago so surely that has come off?
  • I would go for Aqua. I have not got a great credit history however I got accepted for the cashback card. I pay it off in full so i can get the cashback and pay no interest :)

  • I've jest been on the phone to my bank as they say they can help in a better way "apparently" we'll going through to they first customer service woman she said oh yes you are eligible for out card as we can see you handle your account effectively! Then up on going for a credit card team application they have said no it will be rejected :(
    Not the best thing to get your hopes up then knock them back down :(
