It's because you weren't wearing pyjamas - they didn't realise you were a special customer...
I need to think of something new here...

Agreed, that is a total disgrace, you should complain to the manager at once and declare your intention of never shopping there again. :D

Deanos, Dave-C is hardly a troll, read some of the other threads complaining about Tescos then you'll understand the joke Dave-C is making.

I don't know what I would do if I didn't get my regular rough-up and pat-down from Tesco security, not to mention the verbal abuse from customer services!

I used to have to go to some of the seedier parts of london for that sort of treatment, but they charge extra.

I thought Tesco were supposed to offer good value for money? I'm going there right now, and I expect them to give me a piece of their mind (and perhaps a few bruises, too).

Cor, you really are being cheated, I normally get the full strip search :p

Just back from Tesco and, would you believe it, I had exactly the same type of experience!

It must be some new corporate policy.

    Thanks for all your support,

I forgot to mention about the pre-packed salad being OK
No I didn't have a magnet in my pocket. So saying one lady on the tills seemed pleased to see me :)
I'm going to have to suffer this humiliation next week and it looks like it's spreading! It could be a plot to lull us into a false sense of security before the big Christmas ripoff.
