Limit increase, credit check?

Hi,
Just a quick question. I tried googling but couldn't find the answer to my exact question.
I have just had my limit increased without asking me and wondered if the credit card company did a credit check?
or do they just base their decision on the one card they have information on (i.e their card)?
Thanks.

If you have not asked it probably means they have relied on internal data about how you run the account.0

If you request a higher limit some companies do - but as above if the account has been raised automatically it's showing you they like the way your running your account :-)3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:
