Npower creative accounting
Hi,
just finished the what seems like my yearly phonecall to complain about Npowers creative accounting. Dual fuel Statement Dec.2011£265.67cr.
Dual fuel Statement May 2012£69.32cr
I did not worry till I checked our account today only gave a figure of £312.57 in credit when we have been paying £78 per month that works out to £513.32 in credit after an hour on the phone it turns out that they are using an overpayment credit on our account £165.67 and calling it a debit on there account (confusing I know), they used this figure as a debit in the calculated payment for May 12 until Dec.12 and this is why the credit figure today is £201 less than it should be as well as putting our payments up to £78 in May , we await all the paperwork now to take the matter further , anyone else had this kind of problem ,the refund to us which they call an overpayment credit refers to payments made over the period 2009 until 2011 , but they use this to hike up the monthly payment .sorry for the length of post .
