No. Spend it on Krug or throw it on the pools. It's what most older people do with it.

    What utter rubbish. Moron.

You are one of the lucky few.

Surprisingly many old folk do depend on it to subsist and the energy companies are doing their level best to ensure they do. Not everyone has private pensions or entitlement to MPG/benefits.

It should be taxable IMO though.

Considering if you are under 80 you have to be on guaranteed part of pension credit to get warm home discount or pension credit if you are over 80 I’m sure you will find something to spend it on.

    NO! NO! NO!

You need to spend it all on single malt. Not only will you be happy and really warm, you will be supporting the workers who provide you with that golden liquid:T

My way will also warm the whole street up and it will be like living in the Bahamas for all the neighbours.
  • I'm not entitled to the Warm home discount, but I'm sitting here in the cold with no heating on, with a £400 outstanding amount on my bill. So I'll be very grateful for the £200 when it arrives. That will contribute to the gas/electric bill for the last year.

This week I received my £200 heating allowance, and last month I received my £130 warm homes discount. Last year my total fuel bill was £380, and I have recently spent £40 on thermal underwear.

There are people in Europe who are in far greater need than me.

    Should I join UK UnCut?

Save it for the day when you are so frail that you need the CH on all year round.
