Blue Badge displayed - ticket given for wrong classification

Hi,
Was out with a friend who has a blue badge. Got ticket, Parked in a bay that on closer inspection was a split time loading for 30mins up to 6pm and then taxis from 6pm till 4pm.
Ticket at 7.30pm says that it was for wrong classification, but seems perverse as could have parked further down road nearer junction on DYL that could have impeded other traffic.
Am assuming that a blue badge would not be able to park in a taxi only space (it was empty at time)
Worth appealing, or should I pay up the £35 and lesson learned that its DYL from now on!

Always worth appealing if it's still within the discount period. But yes, you should of stopped on the DYL's unless it was unsafe to do so or causing an obstruction.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only.
