Hi, hoping someone can help.
If you are on a DAS, is it possible to still be able to rent a house/flat?

There's no reason why you shouldn't go for it.
The only potential problem I can see would be if the landlord ran a credit check. Even then, if there were any issues, you can show that you are dealing with your debt through DAS.
From the DAS point of view, if you're going to be paying out more each week/month on rent, it's a good idea to go back to your money adviser to do a new income and expenditure. Then you can apply to reduce your payments to DAS if necessary.0 -
Thank you so much.
I think the landlord will be running a credit check. Will definately try for it.0
