Suggest you check for malware just in case the url is redirected.

Its a fake. Banks don't send emails asking for you to click on links to update/upgrade.

If you use online banking, who on earth don't you change your e-mail contact address to (for example) "joe.blogss+natwest@googlemail.com" or "joe.boggs+barclays@googlemail.com" or similar?

The +natwest or +barclays part is ignored by your e-mail server but gets through to your ordinary e-mail address - so you can then tell instantly which are genuine e-mails from YOUR bank and which are phishing.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
