Medical Insurance which includes pre-existing conditions

Some will after a period of non-cover (normally 2 years or more) or if you have already held cover that did cover them.

For company schemes they tend to be much more lenient or totally non-underwritten which is ultimately how I got cover on my pre-existing conditions because I'd had a works policy covering them and then switched to self employed and spoke to Bupa who agreed to continue cover on a personal lines basis.

That all said, medical insurance generally only covers acute conditions not chronic so there is no ongoing cover for the general maintenance of looking after the condition but if you have a sudden flare up or a complication develop then there would be cover for that acute phase
