for a variety of reasons(mainly health and low IQ:o) i m not able to claim my potentially vast missold ppi myself.so,which company will take the smallest amount off me? apologies if this as been covered in the multitude of threads.lash.

    I think you misunderstand what a claims company does. It asks you to give them the details. It then asks you to fill out a questionnaire which will either be the standard FOS questionnaire or their branded version of it. After you fill it out and post it to them, they will then post it to the bank.

    So, why not fill it out and post it to the bank yourself?

  • due to health reasons i ve all on opening a letter these days.one of the reasons i m on here trying to sort my mess of a life out.:o i d heard off friends they just gave them there address and off they went.i know it might be strange to the economic whizzes on here,but i really am at that fundamental level with it all.

    There are some dodgy claims companies out that which do not follow the required processes and will put in a one-size-fits-all template letter listing every reason going whether it is the truth or not. You would be putting your name to that fraud. If that is what you want to do then that is your choice.

    It is really easy to DIY. You fill out the FOS questionnaire and post it to the bank/lender. As simple as that.
