Paypal question..

I've sold some things on ebay and want to withdraw the money from paypal into my bank account.

I've only just realised that my paypal account is in my old married name. I'm legally using my maiden name again now. My bank account is in my maiden name.

Can I still withdraw the money? Or do I have to wait for paypal to change my name?

I've uploaded my driving license to paypal to request the name change but it says it can take 3-5 days!

I'm just being impatient really

As long as you've confirmed your bank account with Paypal, it does not matter what name the bank account is in & its the same for direct debits

Years ago I did the confirming my bank account thing where I had to confirm the amount of 2 small payments, but it appears that my bank account is no longer linked!!
It's so frustrating having all that money that I can't touch!
