I opened a dispute and the seller was very unhelpful so i left negative feedback, now the seller have gone and left me a negative follow up comment to the original feedback he left me so i was wondering how i would get it removed as i sent a request to ebay but im unsure if i sent the rite one as ebay are saying i need to send them a completed claim of defamation.

Only he can remove it unless it contains wording that ebay does not allow in which you can report it and they will remove it.0

If the original feedback he left was positive before the follow up I'd just forget about it.0

Unless you sell you could make your feedback private if you think it is likely to get people worried about you. Otherwise it may just blend in. I would imagine many people who sell a lot don't bother to look at buyer's feedback unless there is a problem - I certainly would give the benefit of the doubt."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Contact ebay. I understand it to be a negative to follow up to postive feedback for you the buyer. If this is the case, ebay will remove it because sellers are not allowed to leave any type of negative for a buyer.
I've had one exactly like this removed.0 -

If comment is a false negative (neg comment with positive sign) then it might be removed.
You can also leave a response to whatever they left....careful of how you word it....and you can leave a follow up to the feedback you left him originally. Again careful of what you say. stick to facts and no name calling0 -

I'm unsure whether it would be deemed abjectly wrong by eBay, but on very rare occasions, I have left follow-up feedback for a buyer, such as when I've subsequently received criticism for delays in despatch... and the delay has been due to the buyer's repeated failure to make a payment!
"Thank you for feedback-please note, 7 day despatch delay was due to late payment"
I don't know if eBay would be unhappy about this kind of thing, but I have noted (within their feedback) examples of routinely poor payers hypocritically, routinely complaining about slow delivery!

Sorry I dont have a link because I always phone them. When I called with exactly the same example I was told there was no problem removing it, as it became a false positive which is against ebay regulations.0
