I'd not heard of an online photography course before.
Seems to be a disscusion of the merits of it over here http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=263607 and a lot of people seem to find it works well for them.0 -
I was concerned that I couldn't find the Inst of Photography website to check what was in the course, so emailed 007 deals, they responded very swiftly with the web address http://www.institute-of-photography.com/course-contents/
It would appear that it is not the same course as the one discussed in the thread above as that had 27 modules, this has 15. So it may be a cut own version.
The qualification isn't a 'recognised' qualification like a GCSE or a BTEC but is basically a pdf to say you've finished the course.
That said, for £49 it sounds good value.0 -
Says none purchased?
Bit dubious - did you buy one?0 -
I'm always very dubious with these daily deals websitesHmmmmmmm0

I haven't bought it yet. I wasn't sure about 007 deals. Haven't heard of them before. Has anyone used them? Don't want to lose my money.0

Would rather use Going Digital & learn from a proper photographer - for me an online course would be as useful as reading a book (and a darn sight cheaper than even £49!!)0

Thanks, but I don't want a course that you have to attend, I want an online one.
Looks good though :T0 -
£399 down to £49 they must be joking
Don't you think if they can offer this kind of discount the course is well over priced .0 -
Please do not get confused between the Institute of Photography, who are offering this course and the Photography Institute who offer different courses.
In my opinion, you would be just as well visitng the forum mentioned above - https://www.talkphotography.co.uk and spending some time particularly in the beginners section (if you feel like a beginner) and also the other sections. The people are knowledgable and helpful and more use for free than I suspect this course to be. This is only my opinion though!0 -
I do the DSLR skills courses ran by Practical Photography mag.. you dont have to buy the magazine to do it but it helps http://www.photoanswers.co.uk/DSLR-Skills/ subscription is cheap when using Tesco deals

TP is a great forum0
