I got bored this evening and, remembering that I had a coin in my purse that I bought from the petty cash tin at work, I decided to count up what I have so far. Very pleasantly surprised by the leap from 14 at the beginning of March to a whopping 23 today, it's so encouraging knowing that I'm close to £50 worth! I'm thinking that, unless something comes up in the meantime to use them for, I might use them to shop for this years xmas gifts.

I know I'm not the first to say this, but I do try to pay by cash at the self checkout tills as much as possible if it's likely I'll get £2 or more in change, more often than not a £2 coin is given if it is :)
