    One for today, not keeping count but dying to know how much is in my tin now.

    Snap! It's only the middle of February and I don't want to count them until end December. This is a bit of a struggle :o:p

    NSD = No Spend(ing) Day :)
    Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
    Mortgage today = £161,690.76
    300 271 payments to go.
    House buyout fund £21,000/£40,000
  • Ah thank you!

    Dh deposited another £2 coin today!

    He does most of them to be honest as he always has cash and I tend not to use cash.

    We have NO CLUE how much is in our jar! LOL!

    We do put every single one in there though.

    Don't know whether to open it in May for holiday spends or keep it going until December for Xmas spends....

  • Wowser, am impressed at how much you guys have saved up already! I have been collecting for about 3 years and have £424. I collect them in £100 and then put them in a tin that needs to have the top sawn of to get into. Means l can keep track easier too.

    Brought a new tin like 'grumswifie' decided not to count how much and save for a surprise until deciding to open it... the reason for the new tin was I've already dipped into my £2.00 coins...not all of them (emergency) this way I wont be tempted because I have to cut the tin open. so a fresh start this week! and I shall replace the used £2.00 coins on Monday so a visit to the post office is on my list!!!!!!!!
