Opened my pot as I needed change and knew I had put £3 x £1 coins in the pot before I started the challenge. I thought I had 6 x £2 coins but I only had 4:(. Will adjust my sig down to £8. I checked my other pot and there not in there either:(

  • I do this anyway. I have a jar I paid 40p for and to open it you need a tin opener! I'm not entirely sure what I'll do with the coins but I'm not emptying it until it's completely full! I may put the vast majority to a mortgage overpayment and the rest towards my omega watch fund!

I'm desperate to pay down my mortgage debt so I can have a larger disposable income, also have a lower figure to pay each month in case interest rates increase.

Either way I'm hoping to have it jam packed full of £2 coins by December 2013!
