Please can someone help me with some advise, my previous carer got 3 tickets for driving in the bus lane out of the hours that you can with the blue badge, I ended up occurring 3 parking tickets with reading borough council, I sent card details of my mothers card to make payment but while she was away they returned the paperwork to her house to say card payment did not go through, I then was readmitted into hosp for 5 weeks, in this time the bailiffs Made a visit to my property and I was made aware of this by a letter saying that I now had to pay £535 pounds for 2 tickets an I owed £109 for another, I said I would try to get a budgeting loan as I was on disability and couldn't find that kind of money. I was turned down for a budgeting loan but I managed to borrow £500 to make some form of payment, I called collection services and paid that payment. One of my carers that had been on holiday explained that a cheque had already cleared for one of the tickets, so I called reading council who confirmed that one of the more expensive tickets had been already paid. I asked her to phone collection services to let them know and ask them to send me a new calculation. Well I didn't hear anything until Saturday web I had a letter saying they had visited again and that I owe £365, I said I can't owe that as one ticket was already paid how could it be that, he then said Saturdays visit was £130 plus a charge on the 2 remaining tickets a they was still charging for the visit for the ticket I had paid for. I begged them to try to reduce it as I really don't have any money, I even said you will have to come and take my goods (not that I have much) he then went on to say he would have to take a lot of stuff to cover removalvan and people and other visits......please can someone help me, all I wanted to know was what was owing reading council keep saying its nothing to do with them and collection services don't seem to care that I am a single disabled women with carers and don't have that money. Please advise me

Oh dear, so sorry to read this has happened.
I would go to BailiffAdviceOnline which is where we always recommend people go before parting with (any) money to a bailiff. That site will cost £10 for continued advice from experts which should hopefully save you a lot more. PLease don't think twice (and I have no connection to the site).
Sounds extortionate to me and also as you are classified as a 'vulnerable' person I seem to recall there are specific extra rules/guidelines for bailiffs.
So post on bailiffadviceonline now and do NOT open the door to bailiffs. Make sure your car has the disabled badge fixed - with blutack if need be - on display even when parked in case they try to clamp it (they can't clamp a vehicle with a BB on display). Not a loose Blue Badge on the dashboard in case 'someone' shakes the car to dislodge it. Is it your car but your carer drives you in it?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Best advice is to go to baliffadviceonline.co.uk and seek advice there, they charge a small fee like a £10 but they will help you, the figures seem high IMO , but go to the website above they are very good.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0
