Need help getting rid of a stain!

Hello! Not sure if this is the right place to post so apologies in advance if not.

I bought two little pine tables today for an absolute bargain of £30 for the pair with two massive tubs of quality beeswax thrown in, never used. But because of this great buy I need to sell my current coffee table!

I've been offered around £25 for it as it's not too old, but I feel bad selling it with this stain on.



Now the table is rubberwood I believe? I'm not actually too sure what this stain is from either, I can only think it's from a glass or a mug but not 100% sure.

Has anyone got any ideas if this is fixable please?

Brasso and vinegar.

Get Brasso on a cloth and rub it gently along the grain. It will take some time, but I've done it and it does work.

Then rub it over with vinegar as this gets rid of the residue.
