Travelodge... Flexible rate?? When are you charged??

Options
As the title says really , when does your card get charged for travel lodge flexible rate.

I've noticed the room we want is going up and up , happy to pay ours but our friends want a room too and they are on holiday. I'll book using my card if they don't take the payment straight way :D

Now as a Premier Inn employee you have NO BUSINESS even CONSIDERING staying in a Travelodge!

I have never stayed in Premier Inn, the prices always seem a bit high :( I always book months in advance, although last travelodge stopover was a total mess up

Look out for the saver days - I get emails from PremierInn about them.

PremierInn are far superior to Travelodge IMO. Some of the Travelodges I've seen are little more than doss houses :(

    It depends on your cc.

Amex only gets charged when you go.

I was booked into one travelodge in September, got there to be told, I had to go to another one  I booked back in March. I was told that the toilet had fallen off the wall so room was no longer available  I had to go to the travelodge I had wanted to avoid. Annoying, but at least they moved us, just not what you wanted after a long trip back from Ireland.
