Ebay cases

Hi guys,

I was hoping someone could advise me on my current ebay situation.

I only started selling in May/June and in that time I have had two cases opened for Item Not Received. I refunded both buyers voluntarily and claimed from RM directly.

The first case, the buyer did not contact me, just opened the case. The second did email me, I asked them to wait a couple more days and contact me if it doesn't arrive. They didn't respond and opened a case.

I am now terrified that I am going to be kicked off ebay as my seller dashboard is showing:

Opened cases 8.33% (2)
Closed cases without seller resolution 0.00% (0)

Do you think it is likely that ebay will restrict my account because of this?

To be honest I don't know. I have had two case opened against me, one on my business and one on my private and like you I refunded immediately. However neither case shows on my dashboard at all and I had always thought that if you refunded within 3 (?) days of case opening it was removed.

However, I don't think the opened cases is an important one, I think it is the second category the 'without resolution' one that is important and you like fine there.

I would agree that it would be the 'without resolution' cases that is the important

As for the opened resolved cases, I think it could be down to the buyer to close the case as they opened it. So perhaps they have forgotten now everything is resolved!

My cases closed automatically as soon as I refunded.
