My boyfriend installed some in my living room but we can't seem to get rid of the gaps. Anyone got any ideas?

errr not sure how you would do that (blonde moment) I don't live with my boyfriend - he lives 250 miles away and comes to see me once a month but these blinds are proper bugging me and i can't wait till his next visit as they are driving me insane looking at them lol
  • Hi,

pull the blinds shut using cord, then use the chain to twist them open, then make sure they are the same distance apart.

I have similar type blinds. Do you have instructions with them? Does it tell you how to clean/wash them?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D
  • Are you saying some of the vanes aren't in line with the rest?

If so, simply twist the offending ones into line by grabbing and turning the plastic bit that hangs from the header rail. It should click round into place.

I usually roll them up and soak them in a sink fill of soapy water (mine are white so I add a bit of bleach), rinse them, pat them dry between a couple of old towels and hang them back up. Place an old towel under them on the window ledge. (if it's a warm sunny day they usually dry in no time)
