I found this one for younger children - not cursive, only capital and lower case tracing sheets, but you can customise them. [must not show OH or he'd have the boys learing to trace rude words..........:D ]

I really feel that handwriting doesn't matter. We used to worry about things like this with our son, but then when they say our daughters writing isn't very good I really don't care. As long as you can read it. They will all be using a keyboard or something else when they are adults. Worry about more academic things or don't lower their confidence. IMHO.

I totally agree with you - but the point with my 2 boys is that it is almost impossible to read their writing - without spending ages deciphering each word - and teachers certainly don't have the time for that these days! As they get older, more and more of their work is literacy based, so I believe that handwriting is important in terms of legibility - I am not trying to create calligraphy experts here!
