Howdens kitchen price - can anyone confirm?

First time posting here and I'm hoping that someone with a Howdens trade price catalogue can confirm whether the prices I've been given below are correct, because I think I'm being ripped off.

The kitchen is the gloss cream handleless one, and it seems impossibly expensive; total price of the kitchen units (no appliances) without a discount would be about ~£26,000.

I am not sure that there is such a thing as a standard price for a howdens kitchen....when we bought ours I think we were offered 20% discount...but we discovered a builder who got 70% and was prepared to pass that saving onto us ...

Having seen our itemised invoice there were indeed some items that seemed very heavily discounted and some items that were of a lower discount....but all in all we ended up with a good price for the kitchen or at least a price that for a similar kitchen other retailers couldnt match.

I do know from my limited knowledge having spoken to my builder/kitchen fitter that some items usually the fancier things such as pull out larders can be more expensive when purchased from howdens...but if you keep it fairly standard then the prices are quite competative...

Have to say though £26k doers sound alot for a kitchen...but I guess it must be a big room!!!

I can tell you its way overpriced. Id go as far to say its easily 50% overpriced but I imagine more.

70% off Howdens units is not a great deal, it may sound it, but you should really be aiming for nearer an 80% discount for it to represent some kind of value.

List Price 26k:rotfl:. You are so lucky to be getting this wonderful designer kitchen at this massive discount:rotfl:. The sad thing is that there are people out there who believe this and fitters out there who try to convince people of it.

Nothing wrong with a Howdens kitchen if you pay the correct price for it though.....

They look alright, especially when your looking at the fact there is a granite sink on there, and are you installing granite worktops ?

It's not a granite worktop but laminate.

Can anyone tell me what the actual retail prices for any of these items are? It seems to me that this designer has given me a price for the items but misrepresented the discount, but I'd like to know by exactly how much before I make accusations (the job isn't finished and I still have some opportunity to recover some costs).
