npower Not Managing to Send Me a Bill

Hi All

Since moving to a new property over 6 months ago, despite me contacting them initially, supplying readings and then reminding them on 23 October, npower have not sent me a bill for my gas and electricity.

Has anyone else had problems getting them to send a bill? How long did it take, after reminding them, for you to get a bill?

Would you stick with npower or would you switch supplier? If you'd switch, who would you switch to?

Thanks

No problems...About once a year I get a bill. I would switch to the best tariff available if that's with Npower as it is in my case then switch to the best tariff they have.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Are you paying by monthly direct debit?

Just put the money aside and stop worrying. Keep the proof that you reminded them. If no bill after 12 months you might be entitled to "backbilling relief".

Have you asked the supplier since? If so what did they say?

Have you considered raising a formal complaint in line with their complaints procedure?

That should get the NPower reps interest:D. But risky given their silence on the contract issue.

    Hi powerwin,

You usually should have had a bill by now, if you've been with us 6 months.

If you can send me your account details to forumresponse@npower.com, I'll be able to find out what's happened to your bill and get one sent out to you.

    Many thanks,

    Adam

    Dear Adam at Npower,

Very good advice as you will be able to rectify the system error.

What about the very long thread asking about contracts ?

    Many thanks,

    backfoot at puzzled.:)
