Apologies first of all if this is a) in the wrong forum or b) been posted before.(Had a search and couldn't find it so here goes)


Here’s a way to get four sets of discount.

1. Use your favourite cashback credit card (e.g. MBNA Amex) to buy a gift card with the Morrisons Fuel Saver scheme. Kerching! Buy the biggest denomination you need – the scheme’s pro rata: £30 gift card 3p/L, £100 gift card 10p/L and so on.
2. Drive your biggest gas guzzler with a nearly empty tank to your local Morrisons and fill it to the brim. Present your discount voucher (Kerching) and pay with your cashback credit card (Kerching).
3. Finally don’t forget to present your Morrisons Miles card. Kerrrrching!

Not really quad savings, as you'd get the cashback on the amount you'd get from the voucher anyway, your just shifting it to a different transaction.

Its a pity the gift cards don't include morrisons as well - I was told that morrisons gift cards are excluded, and I'm unlikely to spend £100's anywhere else.

I do like there T&Cs however:

"Please note that the Coupon(s) is valid for 1 transaction & can only be used up to the maximum retail price of the Fuel. For example, if the fuel you select is £1.32 a litre and your Coupons are worth £1.35 off a litre no change will be given."

Really, someone is going to spend £1350 on gift cards this christmas?

I will be buying some sofas early next year, and Next are currently a consideration.
If I do, I will be buying the vouchers from Morrisons. Will nearly get a free tank of fuel.
