Help, my mistake!

Hi All,

I have sold two of the same items on Ebay and both buyers have paid for the items. I have come to package them up today to get them posted and it suddenly dawned on me that I had listed them incorrectly.

When I checked I had in fact listed them as 'new' instead of 'new other'. As per the description I have stated that the items are in original packaging etc but this isn't the case. I'm so annoyed with myself as I am usually so careful at checking these things. The items are brand new I just don't have the original packaging.

I have messaged both buyers being totally honest and offering a full refund but am just wondering if I should just hang fire now for them to respond? I am worrying about delivery times now also in case they don't reply for a day or two and then my delivery times are totally out.

Also what advice would you give if by any chance they ask for a partial refund? The items sold for just under £30 each and are genuinely new (cost £64.95 from retailer). What sort of amount would you suggest?

Sorry but I have never been in this situation before and now I am panicking! Feel like a right fraudster!

Thanks.

What sort of price would the items go for on Ebay if they weren't in the packaging and you had described them they way you meant to? I think a refund to that amount, or a full refund if they decide they really did want it in the packaging would be fair.
