Assuming you have another PC/laptop with working CD/DVD drive and both are on the same LAN, you can share the CD/DVD drive across the network. Alternately, create an ISO image of the disk using something like IMGBurn, then move this image to the netbook over the networkHow do I add a signature?0

Thanks for the advice but it needs to be simple for a simple person,sorry.0

Another way would be to get a USB CD/DVD drive and connect it to the netbook.
Have you checked whether the netbook meets the minimum specification for Office 2007?0 -
Copy thre contents of the CD onto a USB stick and use that to install on the netbook
You don't need to faff about making ISO images or buying a USB CD driveThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

The easiest way is to go to microsoft's website and download it...0

The product key is "added" during the install process.
Just do as said before ... COPY the DVD contents to a USB memory stick (using a computer that has a DVD drive), plug the stick into the Netbook, open the stick in Explorer on the Netbook, double-click on setup.exe.0 -
