Computer running slow - any ideas?

My computer is running extremely slow at the moment, particularly scrolling down pages.
How do I
1. diagnose the problem
2. fix it.
Many thanks

    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

To be honest it'll probably be a lot quicker and more efficient to back up your data and reinstall your operating system. It'll save days of farting around and it'll run like a dream.

Not if the same crap is installed again!

How long does it take for something like Revo or CCleaner to delete crap. Not very long.

How do you do that if you didn't get a disk with your PC?

How do you know if the op doesn't have the disc?

There should be a recovery partition if it's a decent make which will restore to factory settings. It will format and reinstall the os.

If there isn't and the op hasn't got the disc and made a recovery backup disc they will learn from their mistake.
