Redundant with no consultation period

I was made redundant without notice last week; my company is currently in administration and will probably be closing fairly soon.

I'm happy to claim my redundancy pay and statutory notice pay with RP1/RP2 forms, this isn't an issue.

However, I was under the impression that, in order to make a number of redundancies (more than 20), a consultation period of not less than 30 days is required prior to making any redundancies. Over 50 redundancies were made in my building last week, with more to follow, so we would qualify for this consultation period.

Is anyone able to advise how I would go about querying this? I'm not sure if the rule still applies if a company is in administration or not?
