can someone Highjack this please

Options
My laptop has been running very slow again recently have done scans but kept coming out clear????

when checking my e mails today i noticed in my sent box i had loads of e mails with no subject sent to what i think is facebook, these e mails all have a links in them.

does this mean my email account has been hacked or is it a virus?

I rarely go on facebook sometimes to message my friends and to play song pop but that's about it.

i have done a scan and will post the log in the next post.

would be very grateful for some help of you kind people please :D

    yes i did used to use avg then was advised on here to use avast which i am doing now, is there a problem then?

    it does say i am not using a firewall but have checked windows firewall and it is definitely switched on

    i have just logged into my facebook account and searched some of the names in the emails and a the ones i checked all live in Indiana, how has this happened have they hacked my facebook account?

    All that setting does is open to the AVG Secure Search page when you open Internet Explorer.

    There's no real reason to fix if the OP prefers to search from that page.

    There may be some to get rid of but I'm unsure of the rest.
    For example, on my machine I have Avast (my AV) and the sound drivers loading at startup and that's it.

    You may want to run startuplite (from the makers of Malwarebytes) as that will do everything for you.
