Apparently not as they go through to another Currys website which wouldn't track for the offer.

I'm not clear on the reason the offer doesn't work with the two participating retailers above. I've checked the official Card Member Offers page and it says the following:

"American Express Cardmembers who register their Card here are eligible to receive a £25 statement credit when they make two separate transactions of £25 or more on their registered American Express Card at any two of the participating online merchants from 22 July to 24 August 2014."

Why would they not honour a purchase correctly made from PCW and another from Currys as qualifying?

It's also worth noting the following, which is potentially frustrating!

" If any of the participating merchants do not charge the spend to your Card during this period, for example because of a delay in dispatching your goods, you may not be eligible for this offer. Statement credits are generally issued within three to five business days after your qualifying purchase but may take up to eight weeks to be applied to your account."

It almost certainly does. My comment was about buying gift cards, which apparently go through a non-qualifying intermediary website.

No idea. Suck it and see?

I see, I wanted to buy gift cards too. Shame, I guess I'll have to leave it then.

  • Hi,

Sorry, didn't know where to post this, but Gap, House of Fraser, WH Smith and TopShop amongst a few others have a FourSquare deal. Does anyone know if these shops sell gift cards for high street stores, such as supermarkets, B&Q, Wilko, iTunes etc...?

I think the Gap etc offers mentioned in post 857 are American Express offers, not FourSquare.

I have logged into my AmEx (Gold and BA) card accounts and they are there without going through the FourSquare charade.
  • I found those ones my searching on Four Squared but also seem to recall loading them through my Amex account previously. Wish they would have them all in the same place!
