Live in carer's effect on benefits???

I am at the stage where I need a full time live in carer due to severe arthritis and want to know how their moving in will affect my benefits. I am a 50 year old female with no dependants or partner.
I am in receipt of highest rate DLA for care and mobility as well as ESA (income support previously) along with housing benefit.
The thing I want to know is how having a carer move in permanantly instead of as and when needed will affect the money I am in receipt of ?
Finally who and when do I need to notify the necessary departments?

Who is this live-in carer? As far as I'm aware we're talking about £55pw (apologies, may be £65pw, I don't know the rate).
If you're hoping to give this allowance to someone else then it merely means that you lose that part of your award and they gain it. As for the impact with regard to housing and whatnot then I'm afraid I have no idea but I doubt it would be beneficial.0 -
The financial implications depend on the relationship between you and the carer. (There are pitfalls whichever scenario.) Will the carer will be one person moving in as an employee, or friend, or a rota of agency staff? Are you paying privately or out of a personal budget?Eat food. Not too much.
