Vent - Debenhams Lancome GWP

I'm truly miffed at Debenhams!
I was looking to order some Lancome make-up items last night,
and saw on the Lancome section on the Debenhams website
that when you bought 2 items from the range, that you get a 'free' Gift With Purchase, worth £58
Seeing this, I ordered from Debenhams as I thought the gift looked good, and was worth missing out on my boots points for.
Well you can guess what happens next, I got my dispatch email today and the GWP is currently unavailable so I won't be receiving it!
I am aware that it says 'subject to availability, substitutions may be made' but it's still really disappointing.
The thing that annoys me the most is that they are still advertising it on the website, when they know full well that that have none left. To me that is dishonest. http://www.debenhams.com/beauty/lancome

I have been extremely unhappy about this myself.
I did a rather expensive order this past weekend and while the order conformation has all items listed, according to the latest email I will not be getting a free gift due to it being out of stock.
I have been in touch with customer service and told them I will be returning the order, but they said nothing could be done.
I told them that the free gift was still showing as available for 24 hours after my order...
I am very disappointed and will be repurchasing at House of Fraser, Boots or any other shop having a Lancome gift time soon. I don't care I am missing out on my quidco and the 10% off but will not be buying this at Debenhams!£9500/£10000 baby fund saved so far0 -
Send it back and then get it from boots, you have 7 days0

Or go to Debenhams Facebook page and complain. You will be surprised at the please contact us at ........., then people get the GWP sent to them.0

I tried that, was told to email Customer Service who then simply told me it was subject to availability and sometimes during busy times the website doesn't get updated quick enough£9500/£10000 baby fund saved so far0
