Hedging plants at Aldi
Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but Aldi have been selling bare-rooted hedging plants at £3.99 per pack of 10 since last week.
Unlike their usual policy (where anything that's good value sells out in a day) their stock seems to be holding up well - or at least it is at my local branch.
Choice of:
I went for the Berberis, which should be pretty, but I'm going to regret it when they need pruning, as they are horribly prickly!

Knowing how chaotic their stock control is, I wouldn't travel any distance on the offchance they will have some!
If that branch is the same as mine, they should be out the front, with the boxes of Amaryllis. If the open box is out of what you want, have a rummage in any (hopefully unopened) boxes underneath.0 -
