sleepy & malolo - thanks for your thoughts and wishes. You are the first people I have heard of who did Zoology!

malolo - he has also chosen a Uni where no friends have gone/going so hopefully he will make some good ones. Too far aswell to pop home;).

The course I'm doing has a fair component of Zoology (I might eventually specialise in zoology, who knows? it's one of the options open to me) which I enjoy a lot :)

Southampton is a nice part of the country, Liverpool has two better football teams and Sheffield has.....................hills! :D

Which explains why offspring hardly used the bike we bought her that she insisted she needed. I don't recall her bringing it home either

Probably sold it in Sheffield ;)

Hope he does well and gets his choice whatever the results and whatever his choices are :)

They all sound good from reading this thread.

I think to be honest, most people are happy wherever they end up.

I know it doesn't make the decisionmaking any easier though! :)

By the way, if anyone is considering Bristol I can recommend it (lots of hills, and the locals have a funny accent ;), but generally a very nice place).

I'm at Royal Holloway (the one with the pretty building ;) ) and loving it! In my third year doing BSc Biology, and I dont want it to finish, but only 3 weeks and 2days till the exams are over. Just have no idea what to do next!
  • I'm going to Royal Holloway in September to do English & Classical Studies, so it's good to hear that you like it there Kitten! :)
I think we've all arrived at a very special place. Spiritually, ecumenically... grammatically.

I studied in Leicester ...and stayed! graduated in 1993, did a PGCE there too and finished a cert. in psychology last year, again with the uni of Leicester. This is a great moneysaving city, and it has its own music festival, carnival, and the biggest covered market in Europe (so i'm told)

    I have done reading too!

Hope I didn't put anyone off coming to Leeds Uni... I do student tours occasionally :-p

Only for Elec Engineering though... so the chances of anyone here knowing of me... Low.

Nearly finished a 4 year undergrad course here. A month later, I start my PhD back at the same place.
