If everyone BOYCOTTED British Gas for a year, they will soon bring down their prices.
And if Any supplier tried to increase their prices too much, they would be boycotted next year. SWITCH SUPPLIERS it is so easy.

Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.0 -
Why should those who are on a tariff with BG which is better than any other supplier's (there are plenty of these people !) move to a more expensive supplier ????
Who decides when a price increase is "too much" ?0 -
British Gas have just announced that prices will rise "
Cold reality of winter bills bites as millions prepare for £80 British Gas hike this week"

So you didn't notice that all the other members of the Big Six (Eon excepted) also increased their prices too then? Hardly breaking news.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

You are missing the point.....
It does not have to be British Gas.
If Everyone boycotted the same supplier for a year, then prices would have to fall.
No longer would any of the utility companies be able to Rip-Off the consumers.0 -

With that attitude, you are correct in that it will not work.
