i could mebae have 20k or mebae 25k to invest
what would be the best options for this ?
i dont have any isa`s at the moment
i could afford to lock the money away for a maximum of 2 years

If you need the money in two years time then you could use your cash isa allowance this tax year and next and then savings accounts/bonds.

If it is a maximum of 2 years then you shouldnt be investing as that isn't enough time.
Max out your cash ISA each year and put the rest in the best savings account you can find.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
I agree. If you need the money in 2 years then despite cash investment providing such a small return it is too risky for you to vest in equity type investments.0
