I just searched The US companies registration dept, It doesn't exist. so I rekon it is a scam.
So frustrating that these people now prey on people looking for work. I wish job sites would Admin the postings.
There are also a lot of people looking for work who would not fall for a scam or see it was one before they even send an email.

Very true. But if you see my first post, the Job description is pretty much the same as hundreds of other postings on most job web sites. Having been unemployed for nearly a year, any vacancy with a viable wage can look attractive.

What you posted says nothing about a job only a salary and the word TRAINING!

I too have been out of work a year and I work in accounts and would never apply for that 'job'

    "Account Manager - United Kingdom - £22,300 (Full-Time); £16,500 (Part-Time)

Fields Finance Corporation provide - good basic salary"

Thank you for your opinions in my request for advice, but I feel you are now being a bit condescending in your replies. Not the reason I came here for. If you, like I, have been unemployed for a long period the last thing you would want to percieve is someone thinking you aren't sensible enough to recognise a con. Its bad enough that the unemployment office pidgeon hole you as someone who 'doesn't want to work' and think your just trying to live off benefits.
As someone with a wife,3 children and a mortgage to support I don't see companies that offer TRAINING as a negative. I will always strive to improve my qualifications and experience.

What point? The one where you or no one on here knows if its a real job?
  • On a similar point. Have you heard of Global LT. They are an American based English language training company. They got my details from a Tutoring Agency, gave me a phone interview and set things rolling with the prospect of students. No money has been asked for, I can use Paypal for payments to me but, they want a copy of my passport. They have my CV. No references have been mentioned. I've spoken to their English contact in Brighton and she emails me quickly in response to questions. They have an extensive website, I've not found anything untoward in my research so far but something doesn't fit right. Anyone got any thoughts please?
  • Sadly I have fallen Today for the trap and after they sent me large amounts of money and asked me to send it to another person my bank account got frozen and now the issue is being looked in to...now i have researched them and i have found out that they launder money, so i have reported this to the police and going tomorrow morning to see if i can get my bank account fixed, so far there is £2450 from them in my account, they have blocked my number but they still ring if you call them from number they don't recognize for records the number is 020 8123 3524 so beware and don't be a !!!!!! like me..
