Praise - L&S Engineers, Walsall

I ordered a replacement chain for my chainsaw from L&S Engineers' website. It arrived 3 working days later, but when I came to fit it I realised that while it was a similar chain it was subtly different and wouldn't fit. I rang them up, they were very apologetic and said the correct one would be sent out that day. To my surprise it arrived the next day (unusual for anything to turn up that quickly here in the Highlands), along with a stamped returns label for me to send back the wrong one.

Any company can make a mistake, it's what they do to resolve the mistakes that makes a difference, and I was very pleased with the response by L&S.

It's a sign of today's society that all the posts with titles saying "rip off" "scam" etc get hundreds of people reading them and commenting on them, yet the praise posts such as yours have very few reads and no replies.
People love a good moan and love to read about other people's complaints!

Your post was a refreshing change. I'm glad you got such good customer service!!

It's a bit like the news. The nasty dramatic stories get the most attention, while the 'cute little kitten foils burglary' ones have limited appeal.

I can moan with the best of them, but there's less incentive to offer praise so when I felt it was due in this case I thought I should make the effort to post.
