Need Help On Benefit Entitlement.. Please...

Hi There,

This is my first posting so please be gentle ;)

My problem is.....

I am currently out of work and 13 weeks pregnant. My partner works 39 hours a week earning £16,000 per annum.
I am looking for work but am struggling due to an obvious bump and panic attacks I suffer when I am sick (daily basis!)- I know employers can't discriminate against you for this but how do you prove it?
I've been out of work since last November and tried to make a claim for JSA (Income based) but was refused because of my partners income.
We are currently in receipt of Working Tax Credit but its not that much of a help when you consider all the money that needs to be spent over the next few months!
My partner also pays £200+ in CSA maintenance each month.

Please Help!!!! I'm really worried about our finances and unfortuantely time is not on my side where job hunting is concerned!

Any suggestions will be very much appreciated :D

I dont think you will be entitled to anything, but you might be entitled to the £500 maternity grant for low incomes, but look here anyway www.entitledto.co.uk

    Many Thanks...

Looks like I'm actually being overpaid WTC

They did the same 2 years ago and it has taken us nearly a year to repay it!!!

    Thanks again ;)
