Dust under screen of Htc Desire

Just tried to see how much Cex would offer for a used Htc Desire but they noticed the dust so wouldn't offer anything.
Could I list it on ebay but make a note in the listing about the dust ?
An option is to dismantle the phone and get rid of the dust but im not confident in getting the parts back where they should be.
Think ill try another shop that sells second hand phones.
